Welcome to Jeju Shinhwa World Landing Resort Seogwipo
Jeju Shinhwa World Landing Resort Seogwipo stands as a prominent destination on Jeju Island, South Korea, blending natural beauty with comprehensive resort amenities. Nestled in Andeok-myeon near Seogwipo, this upscale resort invites travelers to experience a seamless fusion of relaxation, entertainment, and cultural proximity. With a rating of 4.2, it caters well to diverse guests seeking comfort and convenience amid scenic surroundings.
The resort is part of a vast complex that offers a variety of activities—from premium shopping outlets and diverse dining options, including Korean, Western, and Chinese cuisines, to an engaging theme park. Spacious rooms provide large beds, abundant natural light, and picturesque views of Sanbangsan Mountain and the lush greenery surrounding the area. Amenities such as free Wi-Fi, free parking, a fitness center, pool, hot tub, and business facilities address the needs of both leisure and business travelers alike.
Guests have praised the friendly and accommodating service, particularly highlighting helpful reception staff and the resort’s clean and well-maintained environment. The extensive breakfast buffet is noted for its variety, reflecting a thoughtful inclusion of local and international tastes, though peak times occasionally create bottlenecks at the entrance. A unique regional policy requires air conditioning to be turned off by early October, which invites guests to embrace Jeju's crisp autumn air through open windows—an aspect that adds to the island’s charm but may require some adjustment.
While the resort's location brings travelers close to cultural landmarks such as the Osulloc Tea Museum and the tranquil Buddhist temples around Sanbangsan Mountain, its distance from central cities like Jeju-si and Seogwipo City means having a car is advantageous for broader exploration. Some guests have noted minor inconveniences, including limited in-room entertainment options and absent bidet toilet systems, which could be areas for enhancement to meet rising expectations.
Jeju Shinhwa World Landing Resort captures the imagination with its dreamy landscapes—winter guests have even woken to serene snow-capped balconies, underscoring the magical experience the location offers year-round. However, some have felt the resort struggles to fully justify its price point, perceiving a gap between cost and room refinements. Additionally, concerns around subtle cultural biases in service highlight a need for greater consistency in guest treatment to uphold the highest hospitality standards.
Overall, Jeju Shinhwa World Landing Resort Seogwipo is a compelling choice for those seeking a multifaceted retreat on Jeju Island, where natural splendor meets leisure and cultural richness. Its commitment to expansive amenities, scenic surroundings, and the vibrancy of the Shinhwa leisure hub makes it a memorable base for visitors who value both comfort and adventure in a uniquely Korean setting.

Upscale, friendly service, and clean. Breakfast buffet entrance can get a little backed up, but the food is pretty good (with a menu that caters to Korean, western, and Chinese palates). Only downside is - for whatever reason, the Jeju Island government makes hotels turn off air conditioning on 10/1. So, you'll have to leave the window open overnight, because the temps can still hit 70°F in October here.
+ part of big resort system so lots of activities possible e.g. shopping, restaurants and theme park + helpful receptionists + close to Osulloc tea museum + spacious room with lots of mirrors and a big bed, great view outside window - no bidet toilet system - no Netflix login possible - a bit far from the central cities like Jeju-Si and Seogwipo City
There are two hotels with similar names here. One is landing and another is Marriot. There are villas and other types of accommodation as well We choose here is because we want to explore Seogwipo before exploring the North of Jeju. There are a lot of amenities like premium outlets shopping, indoor swimming pool and many more We got an upgrade to our room and 4 free tickets to Shinhwa Theme Park.
Double standard. Treated Korean better than foreigners My partner who was Korean was let in dining hall with slipper on. I was wearing exact same thing but apparently I don't have the Korean look so I wasn't allowed to enter. They made a big deal out of it. Apart from that, nice and clean. Just very disappointing with the discrimination
Good overall but was expecting more for the price they are charging especially about the room
A tad basic for its stars, with lots of dull designer shops addressed to dress golfers, and overpriced seafood canteens. Location is good with lots of nature but get a car!
the hotel resort in Shinwa area where many hotel and resort located. there is dining and shopping area the area is quite nice with many greenery area and you can see also some mountain in the distance. the room is clean and tidy. the amenity is not complete.
We found a good deal to stay at Jeju Shinhwa in winter. It is a nice big resort with theme park, restaurants and shops. There is abundant parking space but still 95% full at night. The rooms were big, especially those with balcony facing the swimming pool. We woke up one day to snow on the balcony and it was such a dreamy landscape. I would definitely recommend staying here. It is about 35 minutes drive from the airport, so it is more convenient for those with cars.
